Warm weather can change how TPE feels and ages. A little preparation keeps care simple, safe, and consistent.
Start with the environment
Keep TPE away from direct sun, radiators, and enclosed hot spaces. A cool, ventilated room helps the material remain supple and avoids unnecessary surface stress.
If an item has been exposed to heat, let it return to room temperature before cleaning, dressing, or storing it.

Clean gently, dry completely
Use lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser intended for body-safe materials. Avoid harsh alcohols, solvents, and abrasive cloths.
Pat dry rather than rubbing. Make sure folds, textured areas, and openings are fully dry before storage.
A simple storage routine
Store the item in a clean, dry place with a breathable cover. Keep coloured fabrics, inks, and sharp edges away from the surface to reduce transfer or marks.
